Have you ever felt that art is poetry and poetry is art? Learn to write Ekphrastic poetry (poetry based on art) from Edward Lent, poet laureate of Madison and fellow LAA member.

Using easy tips and techniques, prompts and practice, you’ll be able to have 3 or 4 poems ready to be exhibited and read at a special gallery opening for artists and poets that evening. This fun and creative exploration will help you appreciate art in an entirely new way.
